Donald J. McDowell Estate Auction, Thursday Morning, September 30th @ 10 A.M.

An interesting auction from the McDowell Estate.  Mr. McDowell worked at Henry Ford Museum for years and collected and accumulated items of all types.  Some of the pieces to be sold including an excellent original Conestoga Wagon, Buggy, racing sulky, cutter, other horse tack and related items, antique automobile parts, a collection of 50+ antique license plates, antique parlor stove, a group of antique bicycles including a high wheel example, bone shaker/rattler, round oak table, car trunk, toys, old photographs, pedal cars, pedal tractor, child's wagon, auto lamps, fancy iron bed, Ford Banner, automobile lamps and light, trunks, porch railing, harness makers bench, spinning wheel, Lincoln 1940's Gas Station Mechanics Cabinets, and lots more.  As the pictures show this is all packed and crammed in a barn where it has set for nearly 50 years as stated by the family.  Plan on attending.
